This book is a very easy-reading book. It’s not too long. It just took me 2 hours to finish.
Stanley Yelnats was thought to have stolen a pair of shoes of a famous person. He was forced to go to Camp Green Lake as a punishment. All he had to do in the camp was to dig holes in the sun everyday, as they say, for building characters. There, he made friends with other kids in the camp. He gradually found out the truth about digging holes. It was because the Warden was looking for a treasure and she and her family had dug holes for many years in the past. (more…)
